Scrappy Slab Rainbow Fabric Book

Two years ago, my son I started making these 8 1/2" monochromatic blocks from my scraps. As with many of my projects, these were set aside in favor of other projects... to be worked on from time to time over the last couple years. I finished it up in October just in time to send to my niece for her 2nd birthday. (I also finished her "baby" quilt.)

Hello lovelies,
I while ago I talked about the mountain of scraps I managed to accumulate over time and how I decided to give myself a challenge of sewing up 100 items using scraps only. Now, this is a pretty relaxed kind of challenge as there's no time restriction and I work on many other projects as well as I think all scraps all the time would get old pretty soon :)
